Freecycle Today - Australian Recyclers Community

I Give - I Get - I Save

Be Landfill Conscious
Many people think that because we live in such a vast country that we will never run out of space. What they don't realise is that only 6% of Australia has arable land to live on. If we continue to fill the ground with our rubbish sooner or later we will have no where to live, farm or play. Be 'Landfill Conscious', recycle all the items that can be recycled and reject products with too much packaging. How can we reduce the amount of waste that we each produce? Come to the recyclers forum and add your two cents worth. It could be worth the earth in the future.

I have one which would be suitable, but I can't just give it away, as I'm jobless and trying to make some cash by selling my old possessions.

it is an Avanti, alloy, cross-country bike. It's a light bike, with front suspension, and a a new front tyre.

$200 ONO. If I were finished my degree, I'd be freecycling this for sure, but I've still got a year to go, so I'm too poor to justify the decision.

The bike was worth $800 new, and I have only used it for travel to and from my last job (1hr ride, hilly area)
